GABBEH
Gabbeh (from Persian: Raw natural, uncut) represents a rough and primitive carpet patterned mostly conducted by i nomadic from Ghashgha Provincei in southwest Iran. These carpets are probably the best known handmade carpets from Iran. They are made of wool Handspun, both pile and warp, and the yarns dyed with plant dyes. The carpets are much thicker than other Persian carpets, sometimes up to 2,5 cm thickness.
